Thieves Now Fearless, Even Targeting in Daylight

Sambalpur: Thieves in Sambalpur are growing increasingly bold. They are no longer afraid of the police and are now attempting robberies not only at night but even during the day.

Armed Intruder Caught on CCTV

On Thursday, an armed thief attempted to break into a house in Jagannath Colony under Ainthapali police limits. The incident was clearly captured on CCTV. Fortunately, the thief realized people were inside the house and fled the scene before committing the robbery.

Not a New Incident

This is not an isolated case. Similar incidents have been happening regularly in the area. A few days ago, five thieves entered an elderly couple’s house. Although they could not steal anything, they physically assaulted the couple before fleeing.

Locals Demand Stronger Police Patrolling

Due to the rising number of such incidents, residents have demanded that police increase patrolling in the area. They are calling for stricter action to ensure the safety of citizens and prevent future crimes.
