Sambalpur: A bike rider died in a road accident on the Chaunrpur Bridge late Monday night. The deceased, Ram Suna from Themra, was riding his bike from Themra to Chaunrpur when he met with the accident on the bridge. As a result, he sustained a serious head injury.

Local residents quickly took him to the district headquarters hospital. However, doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

Police Action and Investigation

Meanwhile, the police have started an investigation into the incident. They have kept the body safely in the district hospital and stated that the postmortem will be conducted tomorrow.
