Sambalpur: Dead Body of Migrant Worker Recovered from Train Toilet at Sambalpur Junction; Cause of Death Unclear

Incident at Khetrajpur Junction

Sambalpur: A dead body was found inside the bathroom of a train at Khetrajpur Junction washing line in Sambalpur. The deceased, identified as Prasadi Bag from Badrama area under Jamankira police limits, was returning home from Sikandrabad. He had gone to Sikandrabad eight months ago as a migrant worker.

Train Cleaning Crew Discovers the Body

After the Sambalpur-Nanded train arrived at Sambalpur Junction, railway staff came to clean it. However, they noticed that the bathroom door of a general coach was locked from the inside. Suspecting something unusual, they informed the Government Railway Police (GRP).

Police Break Open the Door

GRP officers arrived at the scene and broke open the bathroom door. Inside, they found a man lying unconscious. They immediately called a doctor, who examined him and declared him dead.

Investigation Underway

The police have registered a case of unnatural death. They stated that a post-mortem report will reveal the exact cause of death, and further investigation will continue based on the findings.
