The state government made a minor reshuffle in the IAS cadre on Monday. Dibya Jyoti Parida, commissioner of the Rourkela Municipal Corporation (RMC), has been appointed collector of Sambalpur.
Shubham Saxena, a Sambalpur collector, has been appointed joint secretary in the agriculture and farmers’ empowerment department.
Subhankar Mohapatra, the current sub-collector of Baliguda in Kandhamal district, has been appointed as RMC commissioner. Mohapatra has also been appointed as the additional district magistrate for Rourkela in Sundargarh district by the government.
