Major Seizure in Sambalpur
Sambalpur: Sambalpur police seized 58.950 kg of ganja while it was being transported from Boudh to Rourkela. The operation was carried out by Ainthapali police, who acted on a tip-off.
Four Men Arrested
Police arrested four individuals in connection with the smuggling case. They are Uttam Deep (27), Saroj Ghibila (21), Sanjat Mahakud (25), and Chittaranjan Pradhan (33), all residents of Boudh.

Cash, Cars, and Phones Seized
During the raid, police also seized Rs. 1,330 in cash, five mobile phones, and two cars. The vehicles used for smuggling bore the registration numbers OD-02-AG-4099 and OD-23-K-6059.
Action Under NDPS Act
Police have filed cases against the accused under various sections of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act. The contraband was seized in front of Odisha Motors during a vehicle inspection carried out by a team led by ASI Jajati Keshari.
