Previously, parking facilities for vehicles were provided during earlier redevelopment phases. However, with the opening of a new restaurant in the parking area, the available space has significantly reduced, causing major inconvenience.

Debashish Purohit, a member of Sambalpur Vikas Manch, highlighted the urgent need for adequate parking outside the station. He criticized the neglect of this issue over the years, resulting in the parking problem becoming more severe. Furthermore, the allocation of parking space for restaurants, which do not attract significant crowds, has worsened the situation.

Recommendations for Improvement

Citizens suggest relocating the restaurant to another area and utilizing the freed space for vehicle parking. Immediate action is necessary to ensure passengers can park their vehicles conveniently, thereby improving their travel experience.
