Sambalpur: The Railway Workers’ Union, Sambalpur Mandal, today, at the urging of the All India Union, has come up with the protest in front of the DRM office. Demands are
- Overnight allowance without ceiling,
- Implement the old pension system instead of the new one,
- Vacancies in various departments,
- Stopping the privatization of railways,
- Improvement of Sports Department of Sambalpur Railway,
- Demands for promotion of drivers and co-workers
The protest took place today.
Today’s movement was led by Sunil Kumar, Union Coordinator of the Workers’ Union, Arvind Mohanty, Zone Secretary, Kahnucharan Jena, Zone President, Santosh Kumar Mishra.
