
The Similipal National Park in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district reopened to tourists today after being closed since May due to the state’s COVID-19 situation.
Visitors will be admitted to the park through the Kaliani and Pithabata gates. Ticket counters have been installed at both gates for this purpose. In addition, eco-cottages will be available for tourists within the national park.
Visitors will be permitted to enter between the hours of 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. They must leave the national park by 3 p.m. from Barehipani and Jaranda, and by 4 p.m. from Chahala. Tourists are being restricted from using plastic inside the park.
