Road in Jagannath Colony Freed from Encroachment
Sambalpur: On Tuesday, Sambalpur Municipal Corporation cleared a long-standing road encroachment in Jagannath Colony. The issue involved Lane No. 3, where a portion of the road had been illegally occupied for many years. Residents Faced Daily Inconvenience
Apart from hindering emergency response, the encroachment also caused daily trouble for local residents, making commuting difficult. Finally, during a joint operation, officials from the municipal corporation and revenue department surveyed the area.
Officials Supervised the Clearance
The clearance drive was carried out in the presence of Executive Officer Sushanta Kumar Sahu, revenue department staff, and several local residents. After measuring the road boundaries, the authorities removed encroachments from both sides, restoring access for all.
This step has been welcomed by residents, who had been demanding action for a long time.
