Sambalpur: Sambalpur Police have established a 24-hour control room to monitor and prevent infiltration of Bangladeshi nationals. Three inspectors will manage this dedicated control room, with each assigned to a different shift to ensure continuous monitoring.
The police team will take immediate action when someone reports suspicious activity. The authorities have advised residents to contact the police via the provided WhatsApp number if they notice anything suspicious. When the police receive information, they will send a team to the location and immediately begin an investigation.

Strategic Measures Under SP Mukesh Bhamu’s Directive
SP Mukesh Bhamu has directed the implementation of a special strategy to keep a close watch on potential Bangladeshi infiltrators in the Sambalpur district. The 24-hour control room will immediately notify the appropriate SDPO of any reported suspicious activity in the area. The SDPO will then go to the site to conduct investigations.
Police will confirm whether the individual in question is a Bangladeshi national. Officers who previously participated in the ‘Mo Sarkar’ initiative will help with this verification process. The team, working under the supervision of an ASP, will conduct extensive investigations. If more force is needed, the ASP will coordinate and dispatch the necessary personnel.
