Burla: Gangs of robbers are active again in Burla city. As it is Festive time, these thieves are targeting empty houses, the front of the house is locked while they enter from the back and enter the house. The house of Anadi Chattar, a resident of Gandhipada, has been stolen like this. He went to his village on the Nuakhai. On reaching the house on Friday, he found out that the house had been stolen, while the front door of the house was locked, the thieves entered from the back skylight window and stole everything.

• An open challenge to the police

In this regard, Anadi has filed a written complaint at the police station. Not only in Anadi’s house but on the occasion of the Nuakhai and in the absence of many people from the houses, thieves are accused of stealing valuables from locked houses. It is worth noting that on the 13th Sept, anti-social principles were banned by the police by holding a flag march. However, the thieves have given an open challenge to the police, so the residents of the city have requested the police to increase the police patrolling in different parts of the city.
