Sambalpur: 70 years of Fatak Durga Puja Committee, Maa Durga will prevail in the Chandrayaan Toran Theme

Sambalpur: Fatak Durga Puja has completed 70 years this year Like every year, this year also Maa will be worshipped in Bengali rituals, said committee secretary Sushant Dansena. This year there is a budget of 20 lakh rupees. Maa Durga will prevail in Chandrayaan Toran, which is one of the biggest successes for India. The committee has said that this Chandrayaan Toran will be the main attraction of this year. While the budget of only 8 lakhs has been kept for the construction of this toran, 15 people from Kolkata are making it which is being decorated by Gajanan Tent House of Jharsuguda. 7.5 lakh rupees will be spent by the committee for the lighting decoration by Dhenkanal. Mother’s puja will start on 20th October. The committee has been told that the Visarjan will be held on October 25. The lottery program started by the committee in 2000 has reached 23 years this year. Cultural events: Cuttack Orchestra in Ashtami, Women’s Kirtan group in Dashami.
