Sambalpur: Dr. Kishori Das, Former Head of Dr. Parsuram Mishra Institute of Advanced Study in Education donated Rs 10 lakh to GMU

Sambalpur: Dr. Kishori Das, Former Head of Dr. Parsuram Mishra Institute of Advanced Study in Education and former student of G.M College donated Rs 10 lakh to Gangadhar Meher University on Tuesday. A monthly stipend will be given to meritorious students pursuing a Ph.D. at the University from that amount. The money donated by Dr. Das should be fixed deposited. The interest earned each year
from that amount Dr. Kishori Dash Research Scholarship is to be awarded. The scholarship will be awarded to the student selected by the committee for a period of 3 years. GMU Vice Chancellor, Prof. N Nagaraju praised and thanked Dr. Das for her efforts. Deputy Chancellor Dr. Umacharan Pati coordinated the program. Registrar Jugaleshwari Das, Controller of Education Jagannath Raut, Prof. Meenketan Pathi and Prof. Sudhir Mishra were present.
