Sambalpur: Carrying of firecrackers is Ban while traveling by train
Sambalpur: The Sambalpur Railway Corporation has asked not to carry combustible materials such as firecrackers, gas cylinders, acid, petrol, kerosene, etc. while traveling by train. At a press conference, Anand Singh, in charge of Mandal Railways said. Such offense is punishable under the Carriage of Inflammable and Explosive Goods by Railways Act, 1989 and carries a jail term of up to 3 years. So it was requested not to transport such goods and be careful. He even informed that the railway department has also taken strict measures in view of the safety of the passengers. Passenger movement is being monitored. He requested to inform the RPF or railway staff if any passenger is carrying such goods.
