More than 3,000 Priests have applied to become a priest at the Shree Ram temple in Ayodhya
Ayodhya: More than 3,000 Priests have applied to become a priest at the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Out of these 2000 Priests have been selected on the basis of merit for interview. This information was given on Monday by the Ram Temple Shrine Trust. According to Trust, now 2000 Priests are being interviewed further. The interview is being held at Karsevakpuram, the headquarters of the World Hindu Council (VHP) in Ayodhya.
A three member committee has been formed to manage it. The committee consists of Hindu preacher Jaykant Mishra from Vrindavan and Mithilesh Nandini Sharan and Satyanarayan Das from Ayodhya. After the interview, 20 Priests will be selected. After 6 months of training, they will be appointed as priests in various positions in the Ram temple. Those who are not selected will be included in the training program and awarded certificates. They will be called upon in future if more posts of priests are created. Ram Temple Pilgrimage Trust Treasurer Govind Devgiri said that the 20 selected Priests are being asked questions such as evening vandana/its method, mantra for worship, mantra for worshiping Lord Shree Ram and its work in the interview.
