Sambalpur: President Draupadi Murmu launched Brahma Kumari’s education campaign “New Education for New India”

Sambalpur: President Draupadi Murmu today launched Brahmakumari’s education campaign of Sambalpur called “New Education for New India” Through education, a positive attitude towards human values should be inculcated in the minds of children. It also helps in the intellectual development of the child. President Draupadi Murmu said that no foreign language should replace the mother tongue.

The President said, the “New Education for New India” campaign has been launched to create values for a better society and awaken the consciousness of students that education has always played a pivotal and transformative role in shaping society. In today’s age of technology, there is a need to integrate students between technology and culture. To build a better society they should take care of their aged parents and the deprived sections of the society. Moral education helps in shaping our lives and brings positive change in society. If the person changes, the society will change itself, if everyone changes, the world will also change, and there will be unrest somewhere in the world. But India has always been talking about world peace. We all seek peace of mind. Prajapita Brahmakumari Shashavriya University facilitates the path to happiness, peace, and joy through character building, self-realization, and divine realization through spiritual contemplation. She expressed joy saying that this is a university where there is no age limit and no discrimination. President referred to the poet Gangadhar Meher’s poem and asked to raise mother tongue. Utkalmani Gopbandhu Das’s poem “Mishu Mor Deh…” suggested that everyone be dedicated to society.

Odisha Governor Raghubar Das joined the program and highlighted the need for a new education policy for a developed India. Union Minister for Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan said, “Once upon a time, our country was a golden India.” However due to the long period of independence, it showed decline. To rectify this, it is heartening to see the launch of the Sambalpuria campaign “New India’s New Education” with the aim of uplifting India through the spiritual empowerment of the Brahmakumari Institute.

There are 140 million citizens in the country, 50 million of whom are 23 years old. The challenge today is do we make them human or machine? Today we don’t need AI or Artificial Intelligence or Human Intelligence. One source of this is spirituality. He said that the only way to eradicate poverty and equality in the country is through a developed and universal education system.
