Permission has also been made mandatory while campaigning in the streets. Sambalpur police have seized 4 sets of DJs in 2 days due to the illegal use of DJs. On Sunday, Dhanupali police seized 2 sets of DJs, while on Monday, the Town police station seized 2 more sets of DJs. The police seized the sound system while it was being used illegally in a mall in the Town Thana area. The police also seized a sound system from a campaign vehicle and strict action will be taken against those who disobey the law, the police said. As the New Year approaches, celebrations are expected in many places. The police said that action will be taken in case of violation of the law in the new year.
