Sambalpur: Doctor Couple complained about worms coming out of the ordered Chicken food form Burla Hotel

Burla: A doctor couple today complained of maggot worms coming out of their ordered chicken. For the family lunch, Dr. PC Karua, professor of medicine at Vimsar, and his wife Mamata Lanka ordered chicken from a hotel on Kirba Street. Then after reaching home, the family all sat together and started eating. Then Mamata came to see the smell coming out of the chicken and the worms crawling on the chicken. She informed the concerned shopkeeper that she would file a complaint with the district food safety department and Burla police station tomorrow. With many people coming from outside the city every day, there is a demand to regularly check the quality of food available in various hotels here.
