Sambalpur: PM Modi will give a gift of 68 thousand crores, Launch of IIM Sambalpur campus
Power, road, railway, and coal projects will be inaugurated and the foundation stone will be laid
Sambalpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming sambalpur. On the occasion of this visit, he will inaugurate projects worth more than 68 thousand crores, dedicate them to the country, and lay the foundation stones of some projects. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan gave this information. The Prime Minister will inaugurate projects in various sectors such as power, highways, railways, coal etc. Union Minister Shri Pradhan said that Prime Minister Modi himself laid the foundation stone of the new campus of IIM Sambalpur through video conferencing during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Prime Minister always says, “The projects that our government initiates, the projects are also launched by the people.” The IIM Sambalpur campus built by the Education Department of the Government of India for Rs 4 crore will also be inaugurated. The Prime Minister will tomorrow lay the foundation stone of NLC India Limited’s 2,400 MW coal-based thermal power project at Talabira at an investment of Rs 27,212 crore. In the second phase, 800 MW projects are also planned with an investment of more than 8000 crore rupees. Coal for this project will be supplied from the nearby Talabira 2 and 3 mines. The project will provide 1787 million units of electricity to Odisha and other states in the first phase.
Similarly, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate the ‘Dhamra-Angul 412 km long pipeline section’ of the ‘Jagdishpur-Haldia and Bokaro-Dhamra Pipeline Project’. Built at a cost of over Rs 2450 crore under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Urja Ganga’ scheme, the project will connect Odisha to the national gas grid. He will lay the foundation stone of the ‘Nagpur Jharsuguda Natural Gas Pipeline Section’ of the Mumbai-Nagpur-Jharsuguda pipeline. The 692-km project to be developed at a cost of over Rs 2,660 crore will strengthen the availability of natural gas in states like Odisha, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh. In this event, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of four projects of NTPC, built with an investment of Rs 28,980 crore. He will dedicate to the country NTPC Darlipali Super Thermal Power Station and NSPCL Rourkela PP-2 Project expansion in Sundergarh district and lay the foundation stone of the third phase of NTPC Talcher Thermal Power Project.
MCL will inaugurate the Bhubaneswari Phase-I phase and Lajkura RLS along with the Kohol infrastructure project built for Rs 245 crore. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Ibb Valley Wassery in Jharsuguda at a cost of more than 550 crores. He will dedicate to the country the 50 km long second track of the first stage of the Jharsuguda-Barpali-Sardega railway line built at a cost of Rs.878 crore. The three road projects of the national highway, developed at a cost of around Rs 2110 crore, will also inaugurate four lanes of the Muli-Koida section, Birmitrapur-Brahmani bypass side section and four lanes of the Brahmani bypass side-Rajamunda section. The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of the railway project of Rs. 2146 crores. It will lay the foundation for the redevelopment of Sambalpur railway station, inspired by the architecture of Rakshri Rajprasad. He will increase the capacity of the railway network in the region and dedicate to the country the Sambalpur-Talcher dual carriageway and the Jhartarbha-Sonpur new railway line of the Khurda Road-Balangir railway. The Prime Minister will also flag off the Puri-Sonpur-Puri weekly express. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the permanent campus of IIM Sambalpur. Along with this, he is scheduled to dedicate the Jharsuguda Head Post Office Heritage Building to the nation.
