Sambalpur: There is no toilet in the main street, Delay in the construction of modern toilets
Samirpur: Complaints are being made about the lack of communally accessible toilets in Sambalpur Metropolitan Corporation and Public area. Taking this seriously, SMC has started the process of building various toilets in the streets. It is alleged that there is a shortage problem and there are other problems that are delaying the construction of the toilets. The Sambalpur Metropolitan Corporation has not improved the situation despite complaints. People complain that routine review meetings are going on. Billions of rupees are spent. There is not a single toilet in the major part of the city. Men and women are facing difficulties in urinating in crowded places like Lakshmi Talkies, Ainthapali Street, Dhanupali, Kacheri Chowk, and Jail Street. There was a plan to build toilets in different places to make the city clean. Prepare the DPR after making a space for it. A proposal for financial approval has been received. It can be implemented even after a long time has passed. Bus commuters live in prime locations.
On the other hand, there is also a government bus stand. Even here there is no toilet from SMC. So people wait there for a long time to go by bus. No toilet to defecate. Meanwhile, the Sambalpur Metropolitan Corporation has talked about toilets built in different places in the city. Modern toilets will be constructed soon, informed that the space for this has already been identified.
