Sambalpur: Sambalpur Prepares for Vote Counting with Comprehensive Training Program
Sambalpur: Preparations are on for orderly and error-free counting of votes after peaceful polling in Sambalpur district. A training program for vote counting was held in CS Zilla School today. The training was given to counting supervisors, counting assistants, and micro supervisors. Sambalpur District Collector Akshay Sunil Agarwal discussed with the trainees and cleared many doubts.
Counting of Postal Ballots, Counting of Votes Recorded in EVM (Distribution & Seal), Role of Micro Observers, Counting of VVPAT Papers, Suspension of Polling and Suspension or Resumption of Counting, Compilation and Declaration of Results, and EVM, VVPAT Seal and Storage after Counting were discussed. A demonstration was also given on how to operate the control unit and count the votes.
A total of 491 people took training in the camp. Rengali Tehsildar Sadakar Kumbhar was in full charge of the training center. The training was conducted by district-level master trainers.
