Sambalpur: Handicrafts and Handloom Exhibition for Sitalsasthi Festival Starts Today
Sambalpur: On the occasion of Sitalsasthi, an exhibition showcasing handicrafts and handlooms will be held at the Dance Floor Hall, third floor, VSS Marg in Sambalpur, organized by Utkalika. The exhibition will run from today until the 12th of June.
During a press conference on Friday, Utkalika officials Dinabandhu Panda and coordinator Pramod Mahapatra announced that the exhibition will feature handicrafts and handlooms from all corners of Odisha. The displayed items include Chandua work, Dhokra casting, stone carvings, wood carvings, Pattachitra, palm leaf paintings, Sabai grass products, terracotta work, jhot work, wood paintings, tasar paintings, golden grass, Sambalpuri handloom sarees, Khandua, and special Sambalpuri jewelry.
Additionally, Utkalika is offering a special discount of 10% on handicrafts and a combined 20% + 10% discount on handlooms at the exhibition.
