Terrorist Attack in J&K’s Reasi Pilgrim Bus: 10 Dead, Over 30 Injured, CCTV Captures Moments Before Attack
Yesterday evening around 6:30 PM, a horrific terrorist attack occurred in Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorists opened indiscriminate fire on a pilgrim bus in the Reasi district. As a result, the bus lost control and fell into a gorge, leading to the deaths of 10 people and injuring more than 30, who are now hospitalized.
Initially, it was suspected that the bus had simply met with an accident. However, the discovery of multiple rounds of bullets and shell casings at the scene revealed it to be a large-scale terrorist attack. All the victims were pilgrims. Their identities are being confirmed gradually. According to local SSP Mohita Sharma, the 53-seater bus was carrying pilgrims from the Shiv Khori temple towards Katra.

At around 6:30 PM, near Terath village in the Poni area, terrorists unexpectedly fired on the bus. This caused the driver to lose control, and the bus fell into a gorge. Upon receiving the news, local police and paramilitary forces arrived at the scene to carry out rescue operations. According to local administration reports, 33 injured people are receiving treatment in various hospitals. Among them, 13 are in Reasi Hospital, 5 in Terath, and 15 in Jammu’s GMC.
A CCTV video has surfaced showing the moments right before the terror attack in Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir. This footage provides a glimpse into what happened before the deadly incident that left 10 people dead and many others injured.
President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and various other leaders expressed their condolences and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. They condemned the terrorist attack on the pilgrim bus. Prime Minister Modi has directed that assistance be provided to the families of the deceased and injured.
