Robot’s Role in Municipal Corporation Tasks
According to the Daily Mirror, the robot was helping the municipal corporation with its operations. A team official stated that the robot had been helping Gumi city residents with administrative tasks for nearly a year. Last week, the robot was discovered inactive at the bottom of a staircase. An official stated that two witnesses saw the robot moving erratically. It appeared that something was wrong. The robot is said to have been under too much work pressure and then fell down the stairs. It is believed that excessive work pressure caused its death, which appears to be a suicide.
An official added, “Some parts of the robot have been collected and will be analyzed by the company that designed it.” Another official expressed regret, saying, “This robot was part of the municipal corporation. The robot, developed by Bear Robotics in California, worked from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and came with its own public service card. It was unique in that it could summon an elevator and travel up and down. According to the International Federation of Robotics, South Korea has the highest robot density, with one robot for every ten workers.
