Sambalpur: A shocking incident occurred in Sambalpur when a schoolgirl jumped off the Chaurpur Bridge into the Mahanadi River. According to witnesses, the girl arrived at the bridge on a bicycle before taking the drastic step.

Bicycle and Bag Found on Bridge
The girl’s bicycle was found abandoned on the bridge. Upon investigation, authorities discovered a bag near the bicycle. Inside the bag, there was a notebook with the name “Kajal” written on it. Additionally, they found a photograph of a boy and a girl inside the same bag.
Rescue Operation Underway
Upon receiving the news, police and fire department personnel rushed to the scene and immediately initiated a search and rescue operation. However, as of the latest reports, the schoolgirl is still missing.
