Sambalpur: Jujomura Celebrates 50 Glorious Years of Durga Puja with a Silver Crown for Goddess Durga
Sambalpur: This year, Jujomura’s Durga Puja stands out among the numerous Durga Puja celebrations taking place throughout the district. It promises to be more appealing and engaging than previous years. This year marks Jujomura’s 50th anniversary of Durga Puja, a grand Golden Jubilee. A number of cultural events have been planned to commemorate this milestone.
The permanent Durga mandap (pavilion) has finished the construction of Goddess Durga’s clay idol. This year’s stunning feature is the silver crown on the goddess’ head. The crown’s silver was generously donated by a variety of individuals, including poor widows and many kind-hearted people.

The committee has been informed that Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, and Drinking Water Rabinarayan Nayak, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari, Deputy Leader of the Opposition and Rairakhol MLA Prasanna Acharya, and Sambalpur MLA Jaynarayan Mishra are scheduled to attend a number of events.
