Sambalpur: Power Supply to Remain Suspended in Sambalpur from 8 AM to 5 PM on December 4; Major Grid Maintenance Work Scheduled

Sambalpur: Sambalpur will face a power outage on December 4th from 8 AM to 5 PM due to annual maintenance work at the 132/33 KV Sambalpur Grid Substation. Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) has scheduled this maintenance to ensure that electricity service remains stable, uninterrupted, and of high quality in the future.

The areas affected include Ainthapali, Remed, Budharaja, Khetrajpur, Farm Road, Badabazar, Dhanupali, Commissioner Colony, PHD, Mudipada, Bhalupali, Kainshir, Majhipali, Gopalpali, Sasan, Samaleswari Temple area, Nelson Mandela Chowk, and surrounding localities.

Reason for the Power Cut

The maintenance is essential to enhance the reliability and quality of the power supply. OPTCL has announced this power cut to carry out these tasks efficiently and ensure better service in the future.
