Development Plans for Hirakud Tourism Area

Official Recognition of Bhima Mandali and Deojharan as Tourist Destinations

Both locations boast natural water streams and dense forests, adding to their scenic and historical significance. However, while Deojharan received a well-built road last year, Bhima Mandali still lacks an all-weather road, which needs urgent attention.
Other Recognized Tourist Attractions in Sambalpur
Sambalpur district has seven tourist spots, and with the Deputy Chief Minister’s announcement adding Bhima Mandali and Deojharan to this list, local residents are celebrating their long-awaited recognition.
