Sambalpur University Website Hack: Pakistani Cyber Terrorists’ Hand, Data Theft Risks
Sambalpur: The website of Sambalpur University has been hacked. Pakistani cyber-terrorists hacked the website in less than two days, according to reliable sources. The hacking of the website has now raised the risk of university data theft, including students. According to reports, the Pakistani hacker hacked the Grievance website (grievance.suniv.ac.in) of Sambalpur University. When the link was opened, it was written “Killer-Hack By Devil”. There was also a message from the hacker on the screen. “Open your eyes and see what’s going on around us right now,” the message greeted the world. Human qualities in society are dead. We are now being crushed by cruelty and violence. This is not acceptable at all and must be stopped. No religion or law allows such acts. So open your mind and think about what is right and what is wrong. There is no need to worry about Admin, your database is 100% secure. ” After receiving the information, the university authorities contacted the website management agency and fixed the website.
It is noteworthy that the hacking of the website is not new to Sambalpur University. Earlier, in 2015, another website was created by cloning the university’s website, which was managed by hackers for several months. Students and the general public thought it was the university’s official website. The university had lodged a complaint with the Burla police station alleging that the website had been hacked. However, the university’s actions were limited to those allegations. Neither the security of the website nor any such action was taken. As a result, the website has been hacked again. After 2 days of hacking, websites became normal at 10:30 on Sunday.
