Constable Ramdash Panda’s social work addiction

The Red Cross Society has honored both the blood donation camps and the homeless. More than 550 funerals are being held in Sambalpur with the help of people who do not have access to medical care due to lack of shelter or money.

Habildar Ramdash Panda’s blood donation has not gone unnoticed by the state. Ramdas Panda’s house is near the Samaleswari temple. He is now working as a Habildar in the Sambalpur Reserve Police. So far, he has donated blood 42 times in person, and has collected about 3,200 units of blood in collaboration with the police administration. A man from Balangir, who was recently treated for an elephant attack in vimsar, could not return home due to lack of funds. He was able to leave because of Mr. Panda’s ambulance. He is trying to save the mentally ill who are roaming the city and treat them. On June 7 this year, a brain-damaged old man from Yuyumura police station area was rescued and treated.

He participated in a blood donation workshop held at the venue.

Mr. Panda says that when his father was under critical condition in 1998, he suddenly needed 5/6 units of blood at a time. He understand the importance of the blood donation at that time and has been encouraging others to donate blood since then. He has been very enthusiastic about social work as he is involved in all the service work done by the police. He said he was encouraged by his mother, Jahnva Panda, after his father’s death.
