Marijuana (ଗଞ୍ଜେଇ) seized in Sambalpur, one person arrested

A quintal of Marijuana (ଗଂଜେଇ) was seized by police at Kendukata Chhak in Rairakhol, Sambalpur. One suspect has also been arrested by police.

A special squad from Sambalpur and Rairakhol intercepted a vehicle at Kendukata Chhak after receiving a tip. During their search, they discovered 120kg of Marijuana(ଗଂଜେଇ) packed in five plastic sacks and confiscated them. The arrestee’s driving licence and Rs 1,000 were also seized by the cops.

A case has been filed, and further investigation is underway. Officials are also attempting to determine the source of the Marijuana (ଗଂଜେଇ).
