Kinnar’s union has demanded to participate in Government’s scheme, Claim to the District Collector
The Sambalpur District Ishani Kinnar Sangh today issued a letter of demand to the district magistrate regarding the issues faced by the Kinnars. Kinnars living in the Burla area of SMC have complained that they are deprived of government schemes. The Kinnars has demanded that they be included in government schemes such as health cards and ration cards.
Kinners have been extensively affected by the Covid-19. So they have asked the district commissioner to provide loans for housing and business to stay.
Ishani Singh, Reshma Mahakud, Baby Bhoi, Pushpa Majhi, Gudi Nag, Rani Mahananda chief of the Ishani Kinnar Sangh were present during the handing over of the demand letter.
