Sambalpur will have a state-of-the-art theater and state-of-the-art exhibition grounds

The beautification and restoration work of the Samlei temple is under the direct supervision of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Rs 140 crore is under construction, said Asit Kumar Tripathi, Chairman and Adviser to the Chief Minister, West Odisha Development Council. In the second phase of the restoration work, a state-of-the-art theater will be set up by the West Odisha Development Council at a cost of Rs 10 crore. It will also be a state-of-the-art exhibition ground. While the Samalei plan is being implemented in two phases, there is still room for improvement. The state government is implementing various schemes for the economic development of the region. The Sambalpur-Cuttack National Highway has been in a state of disrepair for a long time and the state government has requested the Center to complete it as soon as possible. While the state government has doubled the funding of the West Odisha Development Council, branch offices have now been set up in the districts under the council and employees have been appointed and they are under the direct control of the district governors, said Tripathi.
