Sambalpur: Many helpless children in the country who have lost their parents or legal guardians due to the Corona epidemic will benefit from the Prime Minister’s PM Care for Children’ scheme. One such child from Sambalpur district is also getting various types of government assistance from the central government. At a virtual rally on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a gathering of children and parents from different parts of the country who have joined the scheme, saying that the lives of children who have lost both parents are extremely strained and tragic.

The scheme will provide Rs 4,000 per month for child support for 3 years, a stipend of Rs 20,000 per annum for education, loan assistance for higher education or vocational education. After the age of 18, the child will be provided with financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh and health insurance of Rs 5 lakh for the protection of his or her future. On Monday, the Prime Minister handed over a deposit account to the children under the scheme and a health card under the Ayushman Bharat Prime Minister’s Jan Arogya Yojana. Rengali MLA Nauri Nayak, District Magistrate Divyajyoti Parida, Superintendent of Jharkhand, Members of the Juvenile Justice Board, District Child Protection Officer were present on behalf of the Prime Minister on behalf of the child from Bishalkhinda, a suburb of Sambalpur.
