Sambalpur metropolitan area under the influence of drugs, among drug addicts 40% of tablets & 55% of cough syrup users, as per Survey report

Sambalpur: In the Sambalpur Metropolitan Corporation area, the youth are getting more and more intoxicated. A survey report at a time like this has caused a great deal of concern. According to the survey, the highest number of drug users in the age group of 10 to 30 years in the SMC is 18 to 20 years old. Of these, 8 percent were under the age of 10 and started using drugs. According to the report, the highest number of drug addicts was 27% of the students and 25% of the working class. The survey, conducted by the Center for Regional Development and Tribal Studies (RTDS) at Sambalpur University, shows such a worrying picture.
