Medicine Ward Calls Infection: More than double the number of patients

Burla: Bed problems are a constant problem in the Burla Medical Medicine Ward, the heart of West Odisha’s healthcare system. More than twice as many patients are admitted. More than half of them are forced to sleep on floor.

Both patients, doctors and staff are being harassed. Once again, the epidemic is raging. Not aware of this authorities have not taken any action on how to keep social distance between patients within the ward and make wearing masks mandatory. The most important and most likely patient area is the medicine ward. Even if there are serious problems or serious illnesses, the patient cannot find bed and sleeps on floor.
