Sambalpur: Ayan Shines in the state-ranked badminton championship

Champion in the under 11 category, runner up in the under 13 category

Sambalpur: Sambalpur boy Ayan Sahu has achieved significant success in the under 9, 11 and 13 category badminton competition held at Jawahar Indoor Stadium in Cuttack under the supervision of Odisha State Badminton Association.

He is the singles champion in the under 11 category. Likewise, the runners-up in the under-13 age group singles and doubles competitions have brought glory to Sambalpur. More than 2000 contestants from the state participated in this 3-day competition which was inaugurated on Sunday. Ayan Sahu is the son of Rakesh Sahu and Sunita Sahu, residents of Sambalpur. He is taking badminton training from his father Rakesh Sahu.
