Sambalpur: Disorder and unorganized Situation in ICAR Exam Centre
Sambalpur: The entrance examination of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has been held for 3 days in various centers. Thousands of aspirants participated in this for enrollment in reputed agricultural colleges of the country. But many of the centers conducting a national entrance exam were very unorganized and of low standards. It was also organized in some centers that did not have proper infrastructure. Thousands of children took the test at an examination center in a narrow lane in Budharaja, Sambalpur. Before entering the test center in Asbestos House, the aspirants were lined up outside for a long time in the street for verification. The street was completely jammed with the crowd of children and parents. There was no place to queue or even stand for a while when the candidates came from distant districts to take the exam. While there is absolutely no space outside on Budharaja main road, no parking arrangements have been made by the said center. The center was highly insecure and the computers inside were shutting down frequently. It has been alleged that the examination of the candidates has been obstructed. Many examinees had to sit for more than the allotted time because of that. Candidates from distant districts were facing trouble for this exam.
