Sambalpur: Ram Navami celebration with great joy at ISKCON Temple, Burla

A large number of devotees gathered at Iskcon Temple across Sambalpur and Burla to offer their prayers to Lord Rama.

Burla: Ram Navami was celebrated with pomp and gaiety at Iskcon Temple, Burla in a very peaceful manner. More than 10,000 devotees across the Sambalpur and Burla city gathered and joined the celebration. At early Morning 4.30 A.M , the Mangal Aarti of Lord Shri Ram Started. After that Spiritual rituals were performed Harinam Kirtan, Lord Shri Ram Abhishek where devotees filled the air with the chants of Jay Shree Ram. Approx 10000 devotees were provided the Annaprasad by the Iskcon Temple.

For this Occasion, there was a Bhagvat Gita Adhyana organised by Sri Sandipani Muni Das at Bharti Ground situated at Burla from 22.03.2023 to 28.03.2023 morning. Also there was a Ram Parayan every day organised at Iskcon Temple by Sri Padseva.

There was also a seminar organized by the U-Forum Iskon Temple at the Lecture Hall of Burla Medical College (VIMSAR) about the Topic “Art of Happiness” where hundreds of students and professors attended. The seminar was presented by Sri Sandipani Muni Das.

There was a discussion at the E-Learning Center of Vssut, Burla about the topic Goal of Life derived from the lessons of Bhagvat Gita. A drama of Title “Mu o mor man” is presented which is appreciated by the youth and the faculties present there.

The aim of this Seminar and Drama is to create awareness among the youths about protect them from bad-habits and forward in the direction of meditation of god, and to promote and follow the lessons of Bhagvat Gita which help in established and empower the youth of nation, said Sri Amayi Das.
