Sambalpur: Mass Murder Incident of Sunapali, Police went out of State to catch the accused
Sambalpur: The mass murder that took place in Sunapali area of Dhanupali police station in Sambalpur has created chaos in the entire state. Sajia (32) and her children Abdul Rehman (9) and Humaira Taiba (7) were brutally killed by the miscreant who locked themselves in the house and went into hiding. Even now, police have not found the identity of the accused. A team has been formed and sent out of the state. The police said that while the incident came to light about 4/5 days after the murder, the cause of the murder is yet to be ascertained.
Police are digging to find out more about Sajia’s murder after it was revealed that Salman, a native of Haryana, who was living in a rented house, was the accused. He is said to be a habitual criminal. He is said to be committing crimes in different places by changing his identity. On the other hand, the police are gathering evidence to catch the culprit. It is to be noted that the dead bodies of Sajia, who lives in Sunapali, along with her son and daughter, were recovered from the locked house on Saturday. After killing everyone, the miscreants covered the bodies with bedsheets and blankets and locked them up. The incident came to light after Sajia’s mother came to Sambalpur on Saturday from Chakradharpur as her phone was switched off.
