Sambalpur: Popular Sambalpuri vocalist Smt. Padmini Dora has been awarded senior fellowship for research in the field of folk songs by the Department of Culture of the Central Government. Padmini has received this fellowship for the year 2022. After doing research for 2 years, she will get 20 thousand rupees each.
Prior to this, she also received the Junior Fellowship in 2012. This year she was awarded the Ustad Bismillah Khan Award by the Government of India.
