Sambalpur: A Shift in Leadership; Siddheshwar Baliram Bondar as Sambalpur’s New District Collector
In a recent development, the General Administration Department has issued a notification announcing a significant change in Sambalpur’s administrative leadership. Consequently, Akshay Sunil Agarwal, who had been serving as the District Collector of Sambalpur for only a few months, has been transferred to Notably, Agarwal had been appointed to the position of Sambalpur District Collector just before the 2024 General Elections.
As a result of this transfer, Siddheshwar Baliram Bondar, a 2016 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, has been appointed as the new District Collector of Sambalpur. Prior to this appointment, Bondar was serving as the District Collector of Bhadrak.
