Recurring Accidents in Ainthapali
Another person lost a leg in an accident near the same square just two days ago and is currently being treated at Vimsar in Burla. These incidents have become more frequent as a result of the overbridge’s ongoing construction and a lack of proper road conditions and traffic management. Locals are calling for immediate road repairs and the deployment of more traffic police to help manage the situation.
Safety Advisory
Officer Sanaya Nayak of the Ainthapali Police Station advised the public not to rely on others for safety. In light of today’s accident, he emphasized the importance of taking personal responsibility for their own safety by making decisions that could save their lives. In this case, the couple could have avoided the accident if they had not assumed the truck would stop for them. As a result, caution is essential, especially when visiting Ainthapali and Veer Surendra Sai Square (Tali Chowk). Officer Nayak stressed the importance of remaining vigilant until the overbridge is completed.
