Sambalpur: Ainthapali Big Theft Case Solved; 5 Arrested, Stolen Items Recovered
Sambalpur: The Ainthapali Police have arrested five individuals in connection with a theft that occurred in June, recovering stolen goods worth over one lakh rupees. The accused are Firoz Ali (32) from Manda Gopalpur, Piparpur Police Station in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh; Akash Deep (20) and Janmaya Suna (22) from Nuapada and Majhipali; Abinash Mishra (23) from N. Guha Lane; and Chitra Suna (27), a native of Balangir district currently residing in Shanti Nagar.

The Theft Incident
According to the details, Sachin Kumar Agrawal, a resident of Khetrajpur, owned an aluminum manufacturing unit. However, due to certain reasons, he shut down the unit and stored various machinery in a warehouse located at Ainthapali Chowk. On the night of June 18, thieves stole the machinery. Agrawal discovered the theft the next day, June 19. He immediately complained to the Ainthapali Police Station, reporting that thieves had stolen machinery worth approximately ₹6.5 lakhs.
Police Investigation and Arrests
Following the complaint, the police registered a case and launched an investigation. After nearly two months of investigation, the police successfully arrested the accused individuals. The authorities have also seized an auto-rickshaw, a scooter, three iron frames, aluminum utensils, and other stolen items from the accused.
