Sambalpur: A tragic road accident occurred at Ainthapali Chowk in Sambalpur, where a resident of Bihar, Kamlesh Kumar, lost his life after being hit by a speeding truck. Kamlesh was working for a tower company in Sambalpur.
How Did the Accident Happen
Around 5 PM, Kamlesh was riding his Pulsar bike from Bareipali towards Ainthapali Chowk. Suddenly, a speeding truck hit his bike with such force that he died on the spot.

Police Action and Investigation
Immediately after the accident, Ainthapali police took action and arrested the truck driver, Rohit Mahakud, from Boudh. Police officer Pradyumna Swain confirmed the arrest and stated that Kamlesh’s family in Bihar had been informed about the tragic incident.
Dangerous Road Conditions and Pending Expansion Work
Ainthapali Chowk has become a highly accident-prone area. Despite plans for national highway expansion, the work has been progressing very slowly.
