Sambalpur Student Honored for Sambalpuri Dance Talent
Sambalpur: Bhavya Bharat, a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya-1 in Sambalpur, has been selected for the prestigious National Child Artist Scholarship. The Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, nominated her for this recognition in the field of Sambalpuri folk dance.
Seven Years of Formal Training Ahead
As part of the scholarship, Bhavya will now receive formal training in various forms of Sambalpuri folk dance for the next seven years. She will continue to learn under the guidance of her guru, Ranjan Kumar Sahu, whose mentorship played a key role in her selection.
