What Happened?
According to a senior police official, contractor Prashant Kumar Dani visited Girish Patel’s home yesterday around 10 a.m. to discuss a contract issue. During their conversation, a heated argument arose about monetary transactions. Girish Patel allegedly slapped and pushed the contractor out of anger. Following the incident, the contractor went to Town Police Station this evening and had a medical examination later that night.
Girish Patel Denies Allegations
Girish Patel, the BJP District President, has strongly denied the accusations. He said, “I have no information about this incident. I am not familiar with the contractor in question. This is the first time I have heard such allegations. I’ve never asked for donations, and this appears to be a plot against me.
The investigation is still ongoing, and the police are working to collect additional evidence in the case.
