Sambalpur: The BJP has cordoned off the Sambalpur DIG office demanding a CBI probe into the murder of Mamita Meher and the expulsion of Mishra Divyashkar Mishra. Opposition groups called for a boycott of the assembly. Clashes broke out between police and BJP workers.

The agitation is being led by MLA Jayanarayana Mishra, Nauri Nayak, Yuva Morcha state president Irashish Acharya, Sambalpur district BJP president Girish Patel chief.
