The Balibandha road connects the Kunjelpada to the Samaleswari temple. That’s why there is always a lot of traffic. Due to the closure of the road on Sunday, people were left stranded. After a while, the women closed the ring road because no one was listening. “Women are being hunted down for months because of the lack of drinking water,” he said.
According to locals, Neither an official is listening to them nor drinking water problem being solved. The water tank was temporarily closed but has since been shut down. As a result, the people of Ramjipada were forced to take to the streets, the women said. The police respond to the police-reaching movement. The roadblock was lifted after the SDO of the Public Health Department came to the scene and promised to provide drinking water. The SDO has informed that drinking water will be supplied to Ramjipada area within two days.
