Calling All Graduates: TCS to Fill 40,000 Vacancies in IT Industry
Exciting news for aspiring professionals aiming for a career in the Information Technology (IT) industry! Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the country’s leading IT firm, has officially started its recruitment process, with plans to onboard approximately 40,000 new employees.
Candidates holding degrees in B.Tech, BE, MCA, and MS are eligible to apply for various positions. Graduates of arts, science, and commerce can apply for a variety of additional positions.
TCS divides its hiring into three main categories: Ninja, Digital, and Prime. Successful candidates in the Ninja category can earn an annual remuneration of Rs 3.36 lakh, whereas the Digital category gives a compensation of Rs 7 lakh. The Prime group offers even greater salaries, ranging from Rs 9 to 11 lakh per year.
Aspiring applicants have until April 10 to submit their applications, with the exam planned for the 26th of the month. TCS authorities have announced that the recruiting process for new talent will begin in the fiscal year 2024-25. The company traditionally visits colleges to scout and select prospective candidates.
TCS is also expanding its career options beyond engineering areas to include graduates from arts, science, and commerce. Applications are especially invited for the position of Business Process Specialist.
TCS now employs over 6 lakh people, solidifying its status as a key employer in the IT industry.
